We wouldn’t be able to support as many families as we do without our wonderful team of dedicated volunteers, who make a positive difference to the families’ lives every week. We are now recruiting new volunteers to join our supportive and friendly team, with our next Course of Preparation starting on the 15th of April 2026.
If you or someone you know might be interested, please get in touch for more details and to be added to our list. The course consists of 8 sessions, with a break for half term. The sessions are held at our premesis in Market Harborough, at 121 Coventry Road, LE16 9BY on a Wednesday. Each session runs from 10am to 2.30pm, with a break for lunch, which is provided.
Existing and previous volunteers have told us how much they have enjoyed the course and that they feel well prepared for supporting families in groups, creches or one to one at their home.
The recruitment process involves an initial telephone conversation, followed by a home visit. We are also required to conduct a Disclosure and Barring Service check on volunteers every 3 years.
