The snowdrop is often viewed as a symbol of renewal and rebirth, of overcoming adversity, and of hope and resilience. We find this strikes a chord with the 140 or more families we support each year through our projects and services. With our help, these families are able to meet the challenges they face with renewed vigour and confidence, and for their children there is new hope of a happy and secure future.
Once again, fabulous prizes from local garden centres are up for grabs in a prize draw in March. To enter simply send in pictures of snowdrops you’ve spotted or snowdrop activities you’ve taken part in.
We are also very grateful and excited to be selling packs of snowdrop cards, which have been created for us by local artist, card designer and entrepreneur Marina Brook. These beautiful cards are available to purchase directly through us or from Lamport Hall and all money raised will enable us to assist more familes in South Leicestershire.

Many thanks to all those who supported our annual Snowdrop Appeal in 2025, in which we raised just over £300. As well as your kind donations, we really appreciated receiving all your lovely snowdrop pictures and activities.
